NDEPC – for commercial properties
NDEPC ( Non- Domestic Energy Performance Certificate) gives a rating of the commercial buildings energy performance which is required under The Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) for the marketing of commercial properties for both sale & let. The EPC will give the building a rating between A to G.
The EPC is created after a survey on the property and uses a standard methodology so all Commercial Property types are comparable.
The EPC lasts 10 years, and only needs replacing in that period if any marketing is taking place and there had been material changes to the fabric since the original EPC was created (i.e. new heating / Air Conditioning, replacement windows or additional insulation).
